When this little blog started life several months ago I imagined that I would focus squarely on Australia and New Zealand. As the months have gone by I noticed both here and in my professional life that I was looking more frequently to events overseas - primarily India and Singapore at this time. Not just for outsourcing, but also for innovative ideas, products and services.
So with a new decade starting I will now be looking more closely at analytics around the Pacific Rim. Hopefully this doesn't mean a reduced focus on ANZ. I will also try to resist the temptation to focus on the endless stream of innovation from the tech centres of the US. There are many other places where you can read about that. My intention is to enrich our understanding by complimenting local ANZ knowledge with innovation from around our region.
It is also right at this time to thank a number of my readers for their comments and ideas so far. They keep me blogging and have added real insight that I would have missed without them. Keep it coming, feedback is always welcome.
So if you hear of something interesting happening in Asia or ANZ, then drop me a line.
Thanks James - and I'm sure that a BI Monkey like you will feel right at home in the jungles of Asia! ;-)

Steve, thanks for your ongoing and interesting blogging efforts.
I hope one day to expand my remit beyond SSIS and Australia so it's good to see your scope expand!
